Q: I need to do community service so i want to volunteer at a animal shelter but I am only 12. Any body have some suggestions???
A: I don't think there are age restrictions for volunteering, you may just need parental permission. What a good thing to do! I know my cousin did volunteer work at the zoo where he lived for years from a young age. Call your local animal shelter, or vet's office. They'll give you more info. Just be prepared to see some really sad cases of neglect and abuse. But, please don't let that stop you from volunteering, they need all the help they can get.
