Q: I'm just curious as to whether I should call my 4 best friends my friends or my family. We have all been friends for at least 12 years, but are still related one way or another. Spencer is my twin brother. Obviously we're family, but we have a much closer friendship than most siblings. My family adopted Kat when we we're 12. We were close friends before she joined the family. Kat's husband, Ghost, my brother-in-law. Ghost's (step-)cousin, my good friend Adam. So would we be considered friends or family? I don't know if this question really belongs here, but it's where was suggested
A: I would consider you all family. It's easier and it's nicer. You most certainly can call them your best friends most family is.
