Q: Where is a decent area to stay to be close to the Parade route? I have heard Southie can be a rough place and I would like to know which areas to stay away from.
A: I know downtown isn't too bad. However, you'll pay a friggin arm and leg to stay there. But, overall it's pretty safe. Good luck. And lucky you, hope you have a blast.
